Help

I am going to Sunny Beach with my family on the 13th September. There is 11 of us and we are booked into the pomorie (before we read all the reviews). Is it as bad as they say as this is our first time going to bulgaria and because of all the reviews on trip advisor we are all dreading it :(

dont know about that hotel but if its that bad ask your rep to change you to somewhere else anyway you will only be sleeping there there is a lovely beach there and lots to do you will enjoy it lots of good bars and places to eat if you have any questions just ask but dont be afraid to get a change if it is bad we have done this on one of our hols

hi there ! if your all inclusive take some cash for eating out !!! if its B%26amp;B just use the place as a base and you%26#39;ll be ok . if you go with an open mind its nae that bad

I am flying from Glasgow 13th Sept-prob same flight as you so may see you at the airport. We go to SB in June for 2 wks then I go on my own in Sept for 1 wk. Always had great hols in SB %26amp; made a few friends with people who work in the resort. After the 2nd week in Sept it gets a bit quieter %26amp; some places will be closing down,but still loads of things open.The weather can be very mixed as well,so take some warm clothes for the evenings.Have not stayed in your hotel so can%26#39;t comment.Most people who complain about AI seem to have issues with the food,so be prepared to do some eating out if the hotel food is not to your taste.The free drinks in AI hotels tend to be local beers wines %26amp; spirits,imported brands have to be paid for.I like Bulgarian beer so I%26#39;m ok lol.

That is why i am worried people are saying that there rooms are getting broke in too and that the staff are in on it cos the doors are not damaged (but cos they have nt actually caught them they cant prove it)they are also sayin tht while in there rooms morning noon or night the doors where getin tryed. Like you say if this does happen a do hope tht if me and my family are nt happy we do get moved. I have heard tht bulgaria is a lovely place thts why we are goin there its the HOTEL tht is a worry to me and my family.

Hi - you can always wander into Bourgas - which has a lovelylong beach, nice sea park and lots of great restuarants and a good bus service to the resorts. Or you could go up to Varna. Bulgarian towns are very different to the resorts - food and drink about half the price (?). If the hotel is that bad suggest you request upgrade before you go and take out good insurance. I have necer had any trouble in Bulgaria - but be careful of cabs and always ask them to put it on the meter.

The other thing you could do is rent a couple of flats nearby before you go - cheap as chips! And then if the hotel is rubbish just use it now and then.
