Hi
I would like to sample some traditional Bulgarian dishes some evenings- any places that you could particularly recommend?

You will find so many restaurants serving Bulgarian cuisine.
My personal favourites in Sunny Beach are where the local Bulgarians eat...all near the market area, Condor, Iris, Kokiche and Djannys. Beacause the locals use these restaurants the prices are lower as well.

We recall 4 years ago that there was a good restaurant called %26quot;Captain.....%26quot; , it had wooden benches %26amp; tables %26amp; was very popular. It was down by an area which I think had a bucking bronco machine, possibly near a hotel called Pomorie.
Do you know it %26amp; is it still there?

Sorry cant help. There was a restaurant opposite the Hotel Pomorie where the staff wore Sailor suits???

There was a nice restaurant just next to the Grand Hotel Oasis, past the Barcelo Royal Beach on artist street.( Not sure of name )
It has a small watermill running and a open spit with suckling pigs etc being cooked. Had a beautiful Chicken Kavarma there ( A stew with vegetables/potato%26#39;s )

No I think the one you are talking about is actually called the Watermill..I passed by there the other night..looked good but a bit empty. Bistro Billy is nice - we had pig from the spit there on Wednesday..a little pricey but worth it!
