L and B Hotel anyone?

Hi

stopping here at the end of August for two weeks, just wondering if anyone had been and could offer any information on the place.

Also i am a little worried about the amount of stories i%26#39;ve heard about people getting mugged etc, is this a common thing?

Last time i went to Bulgaria was 14 years ago lol and i%26#39;m guessing the place has changed lots so any other information would be appreciated.

Most of the muggings seem to take place very late at night when some of the younger lads decide a walk on the beach is nice with a newly found friend. ( Their accomplices are waiting for them ) So stay away.

Also be wary of the cycle taxi%26#39;s as these are are rip off merchants.

Last piece of advice is not to flash lots of gold as there are a number of gypsy pickpockets about .

Dont let it worry you, every year people have this concern but if you take the same precautions you would anywhere else in the world you will be fine. In all the time I have been going I have never encountered any trouble. Not sure about your hotel but you will definitely notice a difference from 14 yrs ago

I%26#39;ve never actually stayed at the L%26amp;B but my mum has bought an apartment at the Bahami which is just across the road so we are in Sunny Beach as often as we can get time off work. The hotel was only built about 2 years ago and is very modern and very clean of what I have seen of it. It is owned by a very hard working, friendly couple and the food is delicious. They have an excellent chef. We tried loads of various dishes from their menu and allof them were fantastic. Food prices very reasonable but drink prices have recently gone up for the peak season though still cheaper than prices at home.

Hi Zizi, Don%26#39;t think you have any need to worry about this hotel. I go to numerous Bulgarian sites and have yet to find a bad or even average report.

In fact I am going to this hotel myself on 31st August and I%26#39;m really looking forward to it.( Flying from Birmingham )

Thanks we can%26#39;t wait now... counting down the days already!!! We have heard nothing but good things about the hotel, and we have a more positive outlook on the resort now as we were slightly worried! Bring on the 23rd august!

Hi. Just arrived back from the L%26amp;B Hotel and its fab,very clean,good sized rooms and very good food.

We were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble.

If you go out of the gate by the pool and turn left DJannys is about 300yds on the left very cheap and fab food ,dont worry about the queue it goes down very quickly.

Best rate of exchange we found for Levs was 2.21 at the String Exchange opposite the Diamond hotel on the main road.

We had a lovely holiday and would recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Just got back from Bulgaria and stayed at the L%26amp;B in Sunny Beach for the last 4 days of my stay.

Definately one to recommend, good food, good rooms %26amp; friendly staff.

Fairly small hotel that also has apartments to rent.

Good Value and fairly central
