Lads Holiday in Eastern Europe

Hi guys,

Just starting to think about a summer holiday with my mates, we%26#39;ve been Benalmadena and Magaluf for the past 2 years and fancied a change from Spain. We%26#39;re all 19 or 20 so obviously nightlife is essential and hot weather and maybe some nice beaches would be a bonus. Not particularly fussy about accommodation; something fairly cheap, certainly doesn%26#39;t have to be the Ritz, just as long as it%26#39;s not rat infested or something it%26#39;s fine by us.

A few people have recommended Eastern Europe - in particular Croatia and Bulgaria and my brother has been to Prague and said it was amazing . I know this is fairly vague as Eastern Europe covers a fair bit of geography but if anyone has any resort %26amp; accommodation suggestions matching the criteria I mentioned above that%26#39;d be greatly appreciated. From what I gather, parts of Eastern Europe are not only very cheap but also friendly and have a lively atmosphere which is fairly ideal for a lads holiday holiday so really would appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance

For a lads holiday then really the only place to go would be Sunny Beach in Bulgaria. Despite the recent rises this is still the cheapest holiday destination in Europe.

This year we were still only paying 1 lev ( 43p ) for a pint of good quality local lager and eating out is both varied and cheap ( apart from McDonalds )

Would suggest self catering or B%26amp;B as food in hotels is poor. SB is the biggest resort in Bulgaria with loads of bars and clubs.

See here for some of the clubs.

There is a good mix of Irish, Scandanavian, Russian visitors which ensures a good time.

Biggest tour operator to Bulgaria is Balkan Holidays

Hi there,I am from Bulgaria and I also recommend Golden Sands. This and Sunny Beach are expensive for Bulgarians so there you will meet mostly foreigners, but if you want to meet bulgarians they go mostly in Primorsko,Kiten, Obzor, Sozopol.Nesebar is mostly historical place. There are a lot of discos and bars and nice beaches with small bars on where you can sit, relax and have a cold beer.It is really cheap. I am studying for a Travel Agent so if you have any questions especially about Bulgaria I wll be happy to give you advice.

Bye

alright mucker just a quick reply to your post,i have a house in bulgaria near dobrich about half an hour from the coast, great place for holidays and chillin out, but the nightlife on the coast is great golden sands resort very lively, loads of clubs casinos etc just watch out for the prostitutes theres loads of them, but whatever takes your fancy.varna is also a great place for a night out some great bars and clubs open to the early hours,i,m sure you,ll have fun if you decide to go to bulgaria,i love it it,s also cheap but not as cheap as it was,so watch out for the rip off places, you,ll know where they are they stand out like a sore thumb, dobrich is also good for a night out but a bit of a hike if you stay on the coast, anyway enjoy yourselves i,m sure you will, cheers paul [digmon]come on you blues against liverpool
