Only 5 sleeps till we will be in SB again, does anyone know the present exchange rate, thomas cook were offering 1.04 lev to the pound on sunday which is disgracefull, so dont buy from them.
anyone know the price of a flight form burgas to sofia and what day do they fly from, i have a friend who stays there and would like to visit her.

THat exchange rate at Thomas Cook does not sound right. You will always get a better rate in Bulgaria. There is a higher rate for English notes, some were accepting Scottish notes but at a lower rate. Best rate for cash was STRING, which is in the Avenue Centre, opposite the Diamond Hotel. Rate in June/July varied between 2.30 and 2.22lev. Better rate at ATMs with a Nationwide Flex account card as there are no charges with them. Ensure notes are clean and unmarked. Never be tempted to change anywhere else apart from banks or Crown exchange. Hotel rates are usually lower.
Flights from Bourgas to Sofia 5times a week with Bulgarian Air. Check bourgasairport website.

silly me i should have said 2.04, i will shope around for best exchange rates when there,does anyone know if frankies restaurant is still there, we had the most amazing fahitas there.
