First time to SB Myself , my wife, and two 16 year old Girls..
Delayed Leaving Dublin for 3 hours, got into Bourgas at 22.45 local time, the pre arranged taxi was waiting for us, no problems and drove us into the resort.
Had no Levs as the airport were only giving 160 to the Euro, got them changed on flower Street @ 1,92.
hotel was magnificent, 1 bed roomed apartment in the Royal beach Barcelo, 2 mins from the beach, and 2 mins from the action.

Jet Ski 15 mins..50 Lev

Massage on the beach:
A Guy called Michael, besides the Dunes Hotel (The Mafia Hotel) 1 hour 40 Lev very thorough.
Khans Tent: 59 Lev booked in travel agents, not via the reps ,shop beside Djannies A Fantastic night great fun!
Water Parks, free bus from the main street towards Nessebar I think it was 15 Lev for the day and half price after 3 oclock, again good fun
shopping: also good, Do your shopping the far side of Flower street, across the main road they are less pushy than the ones on beach road that I didn%26#39;t like, all the designer Fakes you could want
Portrait paintings: Artists Street, these guys have to be seen to be believed, they are brilliant Note:
If you have a nice photo at home of the family/friends that you treasure, then bring it with you and they will do a painting of it, its brilliant and not to expensive.
Nessebar change from the norm... but still as busy, we took the ferry over and a taxi back, an enjoyable evening!
Dislikes:
Not to many, The sellers on Beach Road, the touchy feely type, I just told them to Go away and kept walking,
the gypsies giving out fruit Likewise.
The overcrowded beach
the dirt of the water, people throwing there dirt into the sea
the Touts trying to get you into their restaurant..
leaving to go home!!
Overall, we enjoyed it, the girls enjoyed it, would we go back, ............... YES

Hi was the Barcelo as nice as it looks cos we are considering it for next year with our two girls age 2 and 9 as we have been to Sunny Beach this year for our first visit and loved it but the hotel was just a bit of a let down so wanted to make sure it was a good one next time. Did you book as a package holiday or was it cheaper to book it seperate.

The Hotel actually made our holiday, its less than a two minute walk to the beach, or the Strip, right next door to KFC,and Subway, its clean, has 3 swimming pools, great food, and its Very Safe and secure, and its very quite at night time, you hear nothing, we will be going back.
I booked it separately from the flights, and got a good deal, its a one bed roomed apartment, ideal for you with 2 kids, send an email to Tony, tell him Des recommended his place.

I agree I couldn%26#39;t fault the Barcelo in any way and its on the doorstep to everything you could possibly need.
