Hotel Pomorie All Inclusive

Would appreciate any info on this hotel please. My daughter and her partner have seen a good deal for AI at this hotel but having never been to bulgaria are unsure if AI is wise would they be better room only or even SC. Also should they take sterling or traveller cheques (their banks charges 2 high 2 use their card)

thanks.

AI in this hotel is not wise as numerous complaints this year about food and restrictions on drinks etc.

I personally wouldn%26#39;t go AI anywhere in Bulgaria although the Rui Evrika does get very good reports.

Have they any other choices of hotels?

If you can get Room only or even B%26amp;B then thats best.

Do not take traveller cheques as the commission charged is very high. Best take clean, unmarked, no rips £20 notes and exchange in any of the banks or CROWN exchange booths. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER or they will be ripped off and never exchange money if approached in the street.

Went to check the hotel out when I was over. A work colleague had booked for later in the season. I spoke with around eight different sets of folk. All said the food was not even close to nearly good. When out they covered up their wristbands as they were getting a ribbing for going AI, and especially at the Pomorie. Sadly my colleague agreed on his rtn.The Hotel is in two sections, older and newer buildings. He did say that it was very clean and tidy for the hotel in general though.

Really if you are booking a hotel, B%26amp;B would do. Food is cheap, good %26amp; portions are large. Just read the reviews for best places to visit. Food can be warm as this is how the northern europeans and scandinavian prefer. Let them know you want it hot and that is what you will get.

Enjoy your hols. We have been 5 times and plan to go back next year
