first i would just like 2 say everybodies taste are very different so when people write on this forum untill u actualy get there keep an open mind ,i am only saying this because after reading some of the reports about the maridian hotel i was really worrying about what i had let me %26amp; my wife in for,but i had no need to worry the hotel was very nice the room was clean %26amp; tidy towles changed every morning sheets changed twice a week, we stayed half board and even though we did not eat in at night very often when we did it was very good and we both enjoyed the meals, breakfast was fine and you could always find something 2 eat that u found familar 2 home, it was a 4**** hotel but maybe not quite up to those standards,we do not think there was anything wrong with the service we recieved ,after 40 years in catering i feel i am qualified to give a resonable report on this matter. both of us would stay in this hotel again.our hotel in spain last year was better/but cost £600 more!!!

Good unbiased report. So good to hear you had a decent time.I agree on the rating, I think equivolent to a 3* in the UK but as we know the Bulgarians still have a way to go to get up to the highest standards with it being a poor country.Toonman
