We had a great time in SB. The weather was hot %26amp; sunny every day although it started getting very cold at night towards the end of our 2nd week. The beach is beautiful white sand, very clean and there are plenty of Lifeguards.
Favourite places to eat were: FarA, Brothers, China House, Eagle, Liliana%26#39;s Bar %26amp; The Steak Bar which was on the Beach Road behind the Fenix hotel. We found eating out was good value and the local beer was really good %26amp; we rarely paid more than 1 lev for a large beer.
We didn%26#39;t find the gypsy fruit sellars too bad, a firm no thank you was enough and yes the touts trying to get you into the restaurants %26amp; bars gets to be a bit of a pain but again a firm no or a bit of banter with them seemed to do the trick.
In general we found the Bulgarians to be very friendly especially as we took the time to talk to them %26amp; tried to learn a few Bulgarian words.
Artist Street is amazing %26amp; our friends had a portrait drawn of their grandchildren which was stunning. The artist was Peter Petrov - very gifted.
We did the Istanbul trip which we throughly enjoyed %26amp; well worth the 5-6 hours bus travel.
Would we recommend Sunny Beach, yes, if you want a relaxing %26amp; cheap holiday. If you want a bit of culture then no but we would definitely go back.

Its on the same street as China House on the opposite side from KFC. It serves a wide variety of dishes, both English %26amp; other nationalities.
By the way, I meant to thank you and the Welshladies for all your help on the forum. It does make a difference if you know what to look out for %26amp; what to avoid.
We never found Djanny%26#39;s where was that.

Djanny%26#39;s is in the market area.Cross over the main road at the Hotel Kuban, just walk straight ahead for about 200 yds and it%26#39;s on the left hand side opposite the clothing stalls.
