I know we have a sticky for 2008 but I am interested myself what restaurants I want to visit in June. So using your knowledge of the resort, can you help me with 7 restaurants that fit in to the below categories?
Absolutely must visit, no matter the cost:
Cheapest Restaurant with good service and food:
Avoid like the plague:
Best for kids (But not fast food chain):
Best Restaurant with evening family entertainment:
Best Restaurant for Bulgarian specialities:
Best Restaurant for big servings and value:
Best Restaurant for Spits/big kebab type things:
I will visit you recommendations and report on each on our return for future visitors. I am also posting on another forum fyi, so will update both.
Thanks in advance

Hi Tony,
One of the problems is that what was good last year may not be in the same ownership this year and so until we get the first holiday makers back ( next week onwards ) we won%26#39;t know for definite.
My 2 pennyworth.
Avoid- Macdonalds ( very very expensive compared to others )
Most restaurants like Djanny%26#39;s, do good sized portions at excellent value as do Condor.
Also go to Far A ( opposite Condor ) looks like a lighthouse. You will find locals use these restaurants too.
We had a lovely Bulgarian meal a couple of years ago at the restaurant just across the road from the hotel Oasis, right on the corner, little water mill outside and spit roast. ( Think it was called the Watermill )
Flowers, just beside the Chaika Beach/Towers also do decent meals and they have a good selection of %26quot;English%26quot; meals if thats what the kids want.

Hi Shell
We are staying in the Watermill apartments, Sv Vlas this year. I believe the restaurant is very good and used by local Bulgarians.
As mentioned above the Miami Restaurant on Sv Vlas is also very good.
My favorites in Sunny Beach for quality and value are, Iris, Condor and Kokiche.

Hi Shell
We are going for 3weeks on 24th June, but flying into Sofia and spending a few days in the Rila Mountains arriving in Sv Vlas on 27th. We leave on 15th July. Shame, we%26#39;ll be gone before you arrive.
I will be back to send you a report before you go though.
Welshlady.

Aaawww that%26#39;s a shame would have been nice to put a face to the name. It is our 1st time in bulgaria so a report would be great to give us an idea of things. What I do need to know is what is non-bio soap powder called, we have got a washing machine in our apt and don%26#39;t want to lug any with us, i thought i would buy it there.
Regards
Shell
