bellevue beach hotel

hi all, were off to sunny beach on 4th august just wondering if anyone had been to the bellevue hotel recently and what is it like?also i debating wether to change money here or in resort as exchange rate in resort doesnt seem as good as it was and i can get 2.2 leva in tesco which isnt much different from resort apart from that cant wait i counting the days and hours will write a report on return

We were staying next door to the Bellvue in the Slavyanski last two weeks in June this year.Friends were in the Bellvue at the same time so we were in and out quite a lot.The reception area and lobby bar are bright and welcoming and kept very clean at all times.The lobby bar was open 24 hours and the staff were friendly and helpful,there is also a small 24 hr supermarket.Our friends were very happy with their room and said the food was fine at breakfast and dinner.The money exchange in the hotel is always very good,often better than the Crown Exchange but of course less than the banks.I base this on friends who have exchanged money there for the last three years.We use Nationwide Flex account cards at the ATMs and get the best rate and no charges.You should take English notes with no rips or writing on them,just change enough money here to start you off for you first day.

I am back out to SB in Sept and I will be staying at the Bellvue!!.

Hi, thought I%26#39;d post a reply about the Bellevue Hotel.

Not been recently - we stayed there in June last year.

We really enjoyed it.

Its a big hotel - large restaurant/bar, clean, lovely rooms with satellite TV + air con.

Nice food.

Ideally placed on the beach - close enough to the lively bars but far enough away to be quiet.

Amigo bar (just across from the Bellevue) is great - if not a little expensive - great cocktails!

We%26#39;ve just been to SB, but couldn%26#39;t afford the Bellevue - im hunting online as we speak to find the best prices for next year!

thanks for that i cant wait we got quite a good deal on the bellevue i got a price on the internet and the travel agent dawson and sanderson price matched it i saved £400 on the price my sister booked for the exact same holiday. sunny beach here we come
