money exchange rate?

Hi to all, has anyone just returned who cn give me an idea of exchange rate 4 english pounds?

Hi just spoke to my son and he is getting 2.17 today

we bought some of tesco and we got 2.189 so you may get a better deal here at the moment

The rate of exchange changes almost daily BUT you will get a higher rate in Bulgaria than in the UK.

thx- would you suggest taking english pounds and changing? Where is best to change- staying at hotel aramis if you know this? only 1 wk know : (

other than above would mean drawing from a cash point (first direct)

Sorry cant locate the Aramis and its not a name I%26#39;ve heard. You will find that there are so many new hotels and apartments in Sunny Beach, that even the locals have not heard to them!

I would take clean, unmarked sterling notes and change in resort. It is safe to use hotels (usually a lower rate), banks or CROWN or STRING exchanges. I always use the STRING, there is one on the main road,directly opposite the Diamond Hotel in the centre. There is another near the crossroads opposite the turning to the main bus station. In June/July the rate at String was between 2.30 and 2.23lev to the £. Crown was about 2.17lev.

It is possible to use your debit card at ATMs, but you will pay a charge unless you use a Nationwide Flex account, which all us regular visitors use. as they have no charges whatsoever.
