My husband, 2 sons aged 24 and 16 returned from another fantastic holiday in Sunny Beach on Tue last. Weather was fab 28 - 32 degrees every day and no rain!!!Saw absolutely no trouble anywhere.

We stayed at Kassandra Apts which were ok. A bit of a walk to centre - about 30 mins. They are located down a side street across the main road from Disco Orange. Saying street is prob a bit much as some of it was just stones and gravel and quite dark at nite.Very quiet and very few staying there so sunbeds not a prob. Apartment itself was adequate and had all that was needed. But the bathroom was not. It was a wet room but the floor was not properly sloped therefore it flooded everytime the shower was used and there was no where to hang up your clothes/towels etc and this cost us in the end. A EUR 50 deposit had to be paid on arrival. On checking out the room is checked and the maid returned to reception with two hand towels which were wet and dirty and they wanted 12lev each for the 2 towels. I explained that it was because of the bathroom that this happened - that they fell and got dirty from sand etc. Also that our towels and sheets were only changed once during the week. We argued for a while and they eventually settled for 12lev for both. This was disgraceful. If something was broken you could understand having to pay but for dirty towels.......

Anyway cribbing over apart from that we had great time.

We ate out a lot and the best by far was Far.a

The atmosphere, food, prices, staff - everything was top class.

We also ate in Billlys Bistro which was very good too apart from a very grumpy waiter.

We did not eat in Condor this time after reading recent reviews but did go to the bar a few times for a drink and it was very nice.

Drink prices certainly have got better in a lot of places with a large beer being only 1lev in a lot more places this year. Malina is still only .89lev most of the time but we witnessed it being risen to 1.50lev one evening when the soccer was on and as soon as match was over the sign for .89lev came back out!

Got bus 1lev to Nessebar - both new town and old town - beautiful.

We also got bus 1lev to St. Vlas and has been said here before the Marina is fab to walk around.

Sun loungers and umbrellas by the beach are still 7lev each.

We didnt do any of the trips this time as we have done most of them before.

We travelled with Concorde Travel and were very happy with the service.

To all those going have a great time - wish I was going back but will have to wait till next year.
