Buying booze/looking for nice restaurant

Was looking for a bit of advice on buying drink. How much will I pay for a litre of Smirnoff or Bacardi in supermarkets? I found when I was in Spain earlier this year that for the couple of quid saving it wasn%26#39;t worth the hassle of carrying it home. Hopefully not the case in Bulgaria.

Also, it is my wife%26#39;s birthday when we are over there and was looking for advice on a nice restaurant to take her to. Does anyone think there is one particular place that is a bit special regardless of price?

Just over a week to go now. Just checked the weather and it has taken a bit of a nosedive for next week so hope it picks up.

Finally has anyone flown Balkan before? What are they like?

You won%26#39;t get a lot of savings on Smirnoff/Bacardi as they are imported drinks. Real savings are on local spirits like Flirt Vodka ( decent stuff )

We have flown Balkan many times and whilst there is ( or was ) no in flight entertainment, food only so,so, their pilots are first class.

Not sure if I%26#39;d say any restaurant is %26quot;special %26quot;, I%26#39;d book for a night out at Khan%26#39;s Tent where you%26#39;ll get a decent meal and a good nights cabaret.

Have a look at Condor Tours next to Post Office.

A litre bottle of Smirnoff was EUR 12.50 at Bourgas Airport last weekend when we were returning.

Didnt check the prices in the supermarkets as also thought it not worth the hassle of overweight luggage etc.

Also agree that Kahns Tent is a very good nite out.
