Back Again

Hi Everyone.

Back a week now slowly getting over the depressing thought that its a whole year again till we go back.

The weather was beutiful only 3 hours of a thunder storm and that was great even better if we hadnt been caught out in the rain.

The place was really busy, its 3 years since we were there, and there has been so many changes all mostly good. Maybe it is been over built now so many new apartments and hotels it is so big now.

The people are much more friendly now in the past some seem to be grumpy this year everyone we met had a smile and could speak a little english some were realy good at english and indeed other languages.

Prices were cheaper, the bars on the front are all competeing for business so the beer is down to 1 lev in some places.

Eating out

we tried a few places the ATOL hotel came out tops.

A steak dinner and a chicken dinner with a free bottle of wine and a large beer cost 30 leva service was good and the food hot we ate there 3 times it was so good,Boris was an excellant waiter.

Far o was good, kavarma was great its a native dish,

Funny pub, food great buy a glass of wine get 1 free.

Forest Hut food great got 2 brandys free, hubby had the 2 I dont drink it so got a free shot instead.

Mamacitas food great as well.

DJANNYS good but busy as usual.

The chicken kebab on the streets are to die for.

Cocktails 2 for 1 in a lot of places some better than others.

Now we have to wait another year to go back unless we win the lotto.

Great report. Seems you had a fantastic holiday. We love it in Bulgaria, spent 3weeks there in June/July, stayed in Sv Vlas this time. Going back next week but we are staying in the Hotel Zora, same owners as the Atol. Stayed in both the Atol and Zora many times and now consider them as friends.

I agree regarding the restaurant at the Atol, food is always good and always hot. I will see Boris next week!
