sozopol

we have an apartment in Kosharitsa and are thinking of a night in Sozopol as I hear theres an art festival in Sept. We are in our early 30%26#39;s but thought we should go as we may never be in Bulgaria at the right time to see the festival again. Few questions.

1) Is there s good atmosphere in Sept due to this festival as we are not that into art but maybe music etc

2) Is it easy to get off bus from sunny beach and on to Sozopol bus in bourgas

3) Hotel Selena (not beach) who does cheapest rates

Hi, I can%26#39;t answer 1 and 3 but the bus question I can, the bus from Sunny beach to Burgas stops right next to the bus stop for Sozopol!!! The bus stops have a sign above them showing the times they leave Burgas, I think they leave every 30 minutes maybe 40 minutes, and cost 4 levs. The bus from Sozopol back to Burgas is also every 30 or 40 minutes and again the bust stop back to Sunny beach is right next to it.

Hotel Selena is one of the very few(if not the only) hotel in Sozopol that is opened all year round and is a very neat place to stay.

Hi,

I have stayed at the Selena Hotel and it is excellent. I have booked another holiday for next year. It is a few minutes walk to the old town with an open air stage that is free and has music. We saw a couple of shows by a famous local singer and a pop group ( June ) The festival I dont know about but you will find a programme on the net that will tell you what%26#39;s on and where. www.apollonia.bg/en/about
