Hi. Can anyone tell me if there are any large supermarkets or open markets in Sozopol? We will be staying in the New Town and will be in a self catering apartment.
Also, are there any good restaurants in the area?

I cant say i noticed any supermarkets around but then again i wasnt looking. I suggest you eat out anyway as its that cheap especially if you go into the old town. At the bus station there is a small cafe that caters mostly for bulgarians however do not let this put you off, we ate there most days. the food was piping hot (which is unusal) and the cheapest we found anywhere...The chicken soup is to die for and its a meal itself and roughly cost around 60p. Sorry i cant remember the name but its easy to find.
