My mates and I (all aged 20) are heading out to Sunny Beach from 6th August till the 17th. I%26#39;ve been reading around the forum to get a good idea of what to do and where to go. The apartment we%26#39;re staying in is 1 minute from a 24 hour supermarket, 4 mins from the Aqua Park and 6/7mins from the Promenade and Hotel Kuban. To me this means nothing but I%26#39;m hoping someone can give me a good idea of cheap but decent places to eat drink around there? From what I hear it%26#39;s good to know this kind of stuff or you%26#39;ll get ripped off badly.
As for nightlife it seems Viking, Lazur, Orange and Revolution are the main ones - are there any special big nights on while we%26#39;re out there? And do they have things like water/foam parties? Also how expensive are entry/drinks in these main clubs?
During the day I daresay we%26#39;ll be to hungover to bother most of the time but it would be nice to do some stuff to have memories. Obviously the Aqua park is close and i%26#39;ve heard there%26#39;s a crazy golf nearby? Not sure about any other cheap-ish activites though.
Just general advice on where to eat/drink cheaply and where to avoid would be great and I%26#39;ll be sure to post a review upon my return. Went Magaluf and Benalmadena the last 2 years so hopefully will trump those!

A lot of the cheaper , but decent restaurants, are situated around the market area, other side of the main road to Hotel Kuban.You will find Djanny%26#39;s here, on the main road close by is Far A and Condor both having decent reputations.( Heading towards the bus station )
Opposite the Kuban is artist street and you will find Malina%26#39;s here which also does decent meals.
Promenade bars are the dearest but go one street back to where Malina%26#39;s is and you%26#39;ll pay only 1 lev ( 45p ) or less for a pint of decent local lager ( Zagorka or Kaminitsa )
Lazurs club is situated on the beach opposite the Hotel Pomerie and has a pool inside so party on.
Revolution is a new club opposite the Kuban and if you look thru%26#39; the older posts you%26#39;ll see the links I%26#39;ve posted to the bars and clubs.

Im sure you%26#39;ll have a great holiday.
Just take heed of all the advise on this forum. Especially the ones on changing money and being very careful when out and about late at night, especially after drinking. Dont leave any of your mates to walk home alone. Dont carry too money around with you.

Hey just back since the 17th july
Only went to Revolution nightclub as its in the very center and so easy to get home from first night they let us in for free and gave us the vip bar for a few drinks and every other night it was 10lv i was drinking vodka and white so that was around 5lv gets empty at around 3.30 and some people move to the viking which is over across from it and down the street for bars we would go to the corner bar really good laugh in there lovely cocktails and there are girls dancing on tables mexo is also a good bar they set the bar on fire its on the beach we never bothered with happy hour any where as it is mainly less the alcohol double the fruits and ice but we did go to this bar one night there was around 10 of us and we got 24 vodkas and 12 tequila for €30 which was 60lv fair cheap, also we really enjoyed wacky paddys and they do a fab breakfast really good for the handovers :-)
In the main square there will be a group of people with party boss tshirts on talk to them they will set you up for pub crawls etc around 100%26#39;s go on them i think its 15lv and you get 4 free shots in wach bar and free entrance to a nightclub so check that out too
there is around 4 mini golfs which are all really good 10lv per person parisaling is 50lv each and there are banana boats and stuff too
So i hope ye enjoy yerselves now and have a great time any more questions just ask . .

Thanks very much for your help. Got some great advice from Toonman about where to exhange money on a previous thread so will be sure to be careful about that. How much would you recommend to take out there for 11 days? Bearing in mind we%26#39;ll probably be going out about 8/9 nights, want to do the occasional day thing such as crazy golf/banana boat/aqua park and obviously standard living costs. Just trying to gauge a good idea of prices in SUnny Beach, nights out in the clubs don%26#39;t seem a whole lot cheaper than england but i%26#39;m not really sure on price of food/alcohol from supermarkets and how much these day activities cost. It%26#39;s about 2 and a bit levs to a pound right?
Think i took just over £400 to Magaluf last year for exactly a week but assuming prices will be cheaper over here. So to cover nights out, day stuff, price of living maybe about £500 for this trip?

sorry you have to support fulham m8. but when you go to bulgaria, you make your holiday when you get there.
i am 50, have been 5 times and loved every minute of the holidays, [1] do not exchange your money on the street to guys that will offer you funny money, for your sterling. go to crown, the bank, or your hotel.
{2} all depends where and what you are drinking, if you go to a local bar you will pay 1-lev a beer,
you pay up to 3-4 lev in some clubs, cocktails i presume will be dearer, drink the local gear, its good, [TRUST ME} {3] dont get to drunk and go with one of the lady%26#39;s of the night, you will end up with something you didn%26#39;t want. they are everywhere at night m8. {3} check out the resturants, there are hundreds of them, the food is great, and i am a fussy eater, some will be cheap, some will be a bit more expensive, walk about m8 and look. {4} the kuban is central so everything is around that area,
just a short walking distance.
just go out there and enjoy yir holiday, dont get into trouble, and get home safe m8.
