prices

hi folks...my names simon...i am travelling to bulgaria on 7th aug 09 with all my family...havnt been to bulgaria b4....does anyone kno the price of drinks...beers spirits wine etc....also ive been asked does anyone kno if cider is on sale ther.....would appreciate any advice at all....we are staying in the sol nessebar bay mare hotel....any comments....cheers

Local drinks are very cheap ( lager like Zagorka or Kaminitsa ) can be had in numerous places for as little as 1 lev a pint ( 45p) Beach bars are between 3 %26amp; 4 lev. Local spirits and mixers also very cheap, however, if you drink imported beers/spirits/ciders then expect to pay a similar price to that at home.

The local stuff is good so don%26#39;t be frightened to give it a try.

Bottles of Flirt vodka about 8 lev.

You can buy cider in bars and supermarkets but is pricey compared to other drinks.

If you are looking for days out try the local bus to Nessebar ( 1 lev ) or go the other way to St.Vlas ( 1 Lev )

Trip to Sozopol/Ropotama River or try The Blue Mountains Trip ( see details on local tour boards, Condor Travel outside post office )

Trips booked with rep much dearer.

cheers toonman ...so would u not book thru the hotel at welcome meeting etc and book at local shops or wot....also m8 dyo kno if they do deep sea fishing trips by our locality

I wouldn%26#39;t book thru your reps as their prices will be a lot more than the local tour shops. You will see the boards out with the flyers/prices and able to see the difference.

As for the fishing. If you go over the bridge to Nessebar old town , bear round to the right and you will come to the harbour where the local fisherman land their catch. I feel sure you will find what you%26#39;re looking for there.
