Hey, so from what ive read SB is just about the nightlife and getting drunk. im going for a week soon and was wondering what other things there are to do in the local area besides getting hammered?

Hi Swagyy
Been going to Bulgaria twice a year for over 12years and spend a great deal of time with the locals. Unlike the Brits they dont go out just drinking, their social life revolves around eating (and having a drink,of course). A meal with them lasts all evening, maybe the reason sometimes the food is served cold!!!
Nessebur is a nice place to visit and also a day out in Bourgas. A bus 1lev to Sv Vlas is a good day out, if only to walk around the marina area and admire the yachts and the expensive cars. It also has a pleasant village square.
Beyond Bourgas you could visit Sozopol, about 4lev on the bus from Bourgas.
There is a market every Thursday in Kableshkovo, you can get a bus from the main bus station in Sunny Beach.
You can try the waterparks and also go karting in Sunny Beach.

The market sounds pretty interestiing, do you know what time its on?

Market early morning, finishes about 2pm.

Hi,
Although it is is quite a way from Sunny Beach Varna is another lovely city which is well worth a visit... Pommorie is also quite a nice place to spend a few hours but defo not as nice as Nesebur and Sozopol.... There are also Jeep safaris %26amp; boat trips on offer which you might enjoy..... IMO I was disapointed with the market in Kableshkevo but thats just my oppinion so please don%26#39;t let that put you off going.
Have a great holiday
Kind regards
Meg x x x
